These programs are designed for organized groups such as camps and day cares to participate in self-guided exploration experiences at Chippewa Nature Center. Please complete a form to request these programs.

Please note: We require a minimum of 1 adult for every 10 youth for visiting groups. For safety reasons, visiting groups may not join other programs happening at CNC (camp, story hour, etc.) unless arrangements have been made ahead of time.

Self-guided programs are designed for a maximum of 30 students at a time. If your group is larger, you can do two self-guided options at a time, or stagger the start times by 30 minutes.

Which activities would you like to schedule?
Each "Exploration" will provide tools for exploring the area (example: bug boxes, nets, dippers, scavenger hunts), a simple craft/art project, picture book related to the area, and a hands-on activity. An outline will be sent to the contact person ahead of the visit.
