Members are invited to come celebrate the 4th of July with an evening at CNC’s Homestead Schoolhouse area. We will have a few craft/activity stations, a photo station, and a scavenger hunt to enjoy the woods and fields adjacent the homestead area. You are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chairs, snacks (lemonade and water provided) and relax to the sights and sounds of the natural world. As darkness sets in, we’ll watch the City of Midland fireworks (approximately 10 pm) while we listen to crickets and frogs and maybe see a firefly or two. Activities will be held at the grassy area near the Schoolhouse area. Please note: Pets, fireworks and sparklers are not permitted at CNC.
