Spend your summer afternoon IN the river! Meet CNC staff at the canoe/kayak launch along Homestead Road to explore what lives in the river. We’ll turn over stones and use nets to get an up-close view of the river’s inhabitants including clams, crayfish and caddisflies. Bring sturdy water shoes (old tennis shoes work great) and clothes that can get wet. Life jackets will be provided. Pre-registration required.
