Varroa mites are here to stay and found in almost every honeybee hive. Learn the latest approach to counting and treating mites as promoted by Dr. Meghan Milbrath of MSU. This PowerPoint program will be taught by trainer Dan Keane of the Saginaw Valley Beekeepers Association. Participants will leave with knowledge of treatment options, as well as a way to make basic home testing kits. Mite check kits will be available for cash purchase at cost.
