At Home with Nature

This program is designed to supplement homeschool elementary education through fun, interactive, hands-on activities. Each series consists of three programs, all held at the Visitor Center. 

Students ages 5-12 will be divided into groups based on their age. Each session is limited to 30 students. Each series is $15 per student and $12 for each additional sibling. (CNC members receive a 20% discount) 

Series must be registered for as a package, and missed sessions cannot be made up or refunded. Pre-registration is required at least one week before the start of the series.

Oct 10 – Human Ecosystems

Late Fall Series - Animals
Oct 24 – Mammals
Nov 7 – Birds
Nov 14 – Reptiles

Early Winter Series - Surviving Winter
Jan 9 – Adaption for Adversity
Jan 23 – Hibernation
Feb 6 – Migration

Late Winter Series - Resources from the Land
Feb 20 – Creating with Natural Resources
March 5 – Maple Syrup
March 19 – Natural Dyes and Fibers
