DESCRIPTION: \n Join Naturalist Tom Lenon for an exciting adventure as we paddle the Saginaw Bay in a 29-foot Voyageur canoe. The canoe is a fiberglass reproduction of the birch bark canoes used by voyageurs to haul loads of trade goods and valuable animal pelts in the 18th and 19th centuries. We'll explore the cattail marshes and look for birds and other wildlife.  \n  \n  \n If conditions are unfavorable, this trip will be canceled at CNC's discretion and participants will be refunded. \n  \n  \n Meet at the Visitor Center, Transportation in a CNC van is provided. \n  \n  \n Ages: 15+, under 18 w/adult \n  \n  \n  \n
