PLEASE NOTE: After looking at the stormy weather forecast for tomorrow (July 21), we've decided to cancel tomorrow's river clean up and fly casting program. We don't have a rescheduled date right now, but will notify you if one is scheduled later this summer. We look forward to more partnerships between Scientific Anglers and Chippewa Nature Center in future. 

It’s time to jump in the river and get it cleaned up! Join CNC Naturalists and the staff of Scientific Anglers for a fun-filled river clean-up day complete with lunch, time in and on the water, and prizes. We will eat lunch at 11:30 am, then divide into teams and tackle several sections of the Pine and Chippewa Rivers. We will gather together by 3:30 pm and prizes will be awarded for the best river trash recoveries. Participants are welcome to stay and participate in the fly fishing casting demonstrations and practice taking place from 4-6 pm. Life jackets and trash-collection vessels will be provided. Pre-registration is required and participants will receive lunch.
