All teachers are invited to join CNC staff to explore snow through STEM while enjoying social and educational time with other teachers! Snow is a fun, hands-on tool to teach a variety of science and math topics such as states of matter, volume and more. Provided there is enough snow, we can explore the effects of surface area on the distribution of weight using snowshoes on an outdoor hike. We’ll conclude with light refreshments indoors.
