Goldenrods, asters and coneflowers blooming in the fall attract pollinators and add color to the landscape.  Many flowers provide food, shelter, cover and erosion control services to the field and marsh ecosystems.  Fungi in a variety of shapes, textures and colors sprout from the ground and logs after autumn rainfall. Meet Interpretive Naturalist Jeanne Henderson at Discovery Preserve on Bay City’s west side to find flowers and fungi before the sun sets this evening.

Discovery Preserve is located at 1701 S. Euclid in Bay City.
