Join Tom Lenon on an elk tour in beautiful Pigeon River Area as we learn about elk behavior and habitat. This is the time of year for the elk rut and is a great time to hear the bulls bugling, so the chances of seeing elk also increases. We'll drive and hike to get to areas were elk are often active. Other species of wildlife and unique characteristics of the Pigeon River area will be pointed out. Trip fees include a night in a motel, continental breakfast, snacks and Saturday’s lunch. We will depart CNC at 2 pm Friday and return by 6 pm Saturday. Participants will need to cover the costs of Friday’s dinner at a restaurant.
