Venture out to Chippewa Nature Center for the monthly Families in Nature program series! Join CNC’s naturalists for this outdoor program to explore the wonders of Michigan’s seasons.

Spend your summer afternoon IN the river! Meet CNC staff at the canoe/kayak launch along Homestead Road to explore what lives in the river. We’ll turn over stones and use nets to get an up-close view of the river’s inhabitants including clams, crayfish and caddisflies. Bring sturdy water shoes (old tennis shoes work great) and clothes that can get wet. Life jackets will be provided.
