Enjoy a colorful autumn afternoon on the Chippewa River in a 29-foot Voyageur canoe. This canoe is a fiberglass reproduction of the birch bark canoes used by fur traders to haul loads of goods and valuable animal pelts in the 18th and 19th centuries. We’ll explore the natural and cultural resources of the area and share stories of the past while having a truly unique outdoor experience. If weather or water conditions are not favorable, this trip will be canceled and participants will be refunded. Meet at Golfside Drive Park Boat Launch off Currie Parkway.

Cancellation Policy
Field Trip and Workshop Cancellation Policy If the participant cancels before the registration deadline, they will receive a full refund minus a $10 cancellation fee. If the participant cancels between registration deadline and 3 days prior to program, they will receive a 50% refund. If the participant cancels 1-2 days prior to program, no refund will be given. If CNC cancels this program (e.g., conditions are unfavorable), participants will receive a full refund.
