Common Milkweed plants growing in open fields create their own community for many insects. Monarch butterflies, Milkweed bugs and beetles, Tussock moths, weevils and aphids are just a few of the residents.  Join Interpretive Naturalist Jeanne Henderson at the Visitor Center to begin our trek to the Arboretum’s milkweed patch. Using nets and bug boxes, we’ll collect and observe a variety of orange and black creatures!
