Meet Interpretive Naturalist Jeanne Henderson at Discovery Preserve on Bay City’s west side, a hub of the Saginaw Bay Birding Trail organized by the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy. Birds nesting at this small urban preserve in Bay City include Wood Ducks, Mallards, Tree Swallows, Eastern Bluebirds and Red-winged Blackbirds. Visiting birds could include Great Blue Herons, Cooper’s hawk, Sora or others. Bring your binoculars or borrow CNC's for this leisurely morning walk while we look and listen for a variety of birds.
