Silent and secretive, salamanders are often a creature of mystery. Join CNC Interpretive Naturalist Michelle Fournier as we hike and turn over logs to look for these shy amphibians. We’ll even check out any remaining vernal pools for salamander young!  Grab your mud boots and meet at Riverview Natural Area.

Directions: From Downtown Midland, take M-20 west for 4.2 miles, then turn right onto N Homer Ro. Drive 2 miles, then follow the curve to the left onto E Wheeler Rd. The parking area is ¼ mile down on E Wheeler Rd on the right.
