This Sunday at Discover the Homestead Farm, join Midland FiberArts and participate in weaving, finger knitting, and fabric card making. A simple vertical tapestry loom will be set up and guests can use strips of fabric and yarn to create their own freeform designs. There will also be demonstrations on spinning, weaving, knitting and braiding.

The Midland FiberArts guild is a non-profit organization formed to inspire and educate in creative, original fiber arts. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month during the school year at Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland. For more information on meeting times and
program specifics visit us on Facebook.

Step back in time at CNC's log cabin, timber frame barn and one-room school for a family-friendly afternoon at the Homestead Farm. Special activities and tours will be available throughout the afternoon. You may get to try your hand at grinding corn, pumping water, writing on a slate board, working in the garden or watering the animals. The Homestead and Schoolhouse will be open Sundays May 27-Sept 2.
