Step back in time at CNC's log cabin, timber frame barn and one-room school for a family-friendly afternoon at the Homestead Farm. Special activities and tours will be available throughout the afternoon. You may get to try your hand at grinding corn, pumping water, writing on a slate board, working in the garden or watering the animals. The Homestead and Schoolhouse will be open Sundays May 27-Sept 2.

June 10^th at the Homestead: Historic Toys

Stop by the cabin to learn about families that lived right HERE in the 1800s. Try out a few chores like washing clothes or pumping water, but save some time for fun! Play with historic wooden toys, make your own modern whirligig or ball and cup, and relax in the shade of our apple trees with a book.
