Join CNC staff as we head north to West Branch for a day of snowshoeing the rolling terrain of the Ogemaw Hills area. The woods blanketed with snow offer gentle challenges for intermediate to experienced snowshoe enthusiasts.
The Au Sable State Forest site is also a favorite for cross country skiers, so we’ll venture off-trail to enjoy nature’s beauty and look for animal signs. Meet at the Visitor Center at 8 am to load into CNC's 15 passenger van. We will snowshoe about two hours in the morning and less than that again in the afternoon. Bring money for a hot lunch in West Branch. We will return to CNC by 5 pm. Please indicate at the time of registration if you need to borrow snowshoes.
